If you have some problems with your health, you need to start doing something about it immediately. If your knee has been aching you for some time, do not ignore the problem. The longer you wait, the worse it will get. I believe that people are responsible for their health problems. If they do not decide to visit a muskuloskeletal disease specialist I do not think that anybody can help them with their problems. Most health problems people have are self induced. Those who jog regularly might experience pain in knees from time to time. It is not rare for athletes to ignore the problem until it is too late. Some people simply cannot give up jogging when it is a good idea to stop the activity. If you have been injured while jogging, do not attempt to continue doing it. Even after the pain is gone, you are still not advised to jog as if nothing has ever happened. Switching to an exercise bike for some time might be a good start. Only a specialist has the right to tell you when you are ready to start jogging again.
