Mouses vs. Mice
The term mouse describes the electronic devices that we use to control our computers. The reason why this device was called a mouse was that in the development lab initially the cord was going from the back of the mouse. This looked like a tail so the device was called a mouse. Later on the term mouse was still being used, although our devices do not resemble that much the furry creates they are being called. Anyway, the question is whether we should use the plural term mouses or mice. The truth is that the plural of this device should be determined by common usage. If this is the case, then both mice and mouses are acceptable. I suggest using the term mouses as it avoids confusing peripheral input devices with rodents; however, you can use either one.
