For many people, summer has already ended. This might mean the end of traveling, but not for everybody. For many reasons, traveling in October and November is a viable option. For example, the prices of many vacation packages are a lot lower after the end of summer. The same principle applies to Cape Cod ferries. Some services are simply more affordable after the summer has already ended. The reason this happens is that fewer people travel after the summer season, because children and students go back to school. Those who can take a break in October are in for a real treat.
