LCD TVs were introduced long time ago, but it takes time for some inventions to get really popular. In the beginning of 2006 LCD TV shipments amounted to less then 20%, right now they amount to around 60%. The transition is not unexpected, as it not only made the TVs lighter and easier to move around, but the LCD technology also supports different sizes of TVs. You can have an LCD TV which is smaller than 20 inches, and at the same time also offer very large screens for those really demanding. Personally, I do not have any CTR equipment in my home anymore, as I believe that LCDs are superior. LCD TV shipments are further expected to grow this year.
Japan is a very interesting market when it comes to technology, as it is definitely one of the most technologically advanced nations in the world. That is why observing various trends is not only interesting, but may prove to be beneficial for many reasons. Recent data suggests that the Blu-ray DVD sales are growing rapidly in Japan, which is probably due to HD-DVD discs that lost the format war last year. Not only that the sales are growing, but the prediction is that the sales will continue to grow for a long time, as the Blu-ray DVD technology doesnt really have a competitor.
One of the reasons for that may be that around half a year ago one of the biggest backers of HD DVD format, namely Universal Studios, has decided to release all their new videos on the victorious Blu-ray technology. Universal Studios are releasing dozens of titles, all of them are being released on the Blu-ray DVDs. Some called this the final nail in the coffin for HD DVD. Generally speaking, I am certain that having only one format is benefiting customers, as they don’t have to obtain equipment which would have the capability to playback both formats. This in turn means more money left in the pocket of an average consumer.
In my last post I discussed Hits4Pay. Basically, the biggest incentive is that they give you a $10 sign up bonus, but the catch is that you do not receive this $10 before you accumulate $15 more. To accumulate $15, you need to wait for Hits4Pay to send you the advertisement emails. Each email has 1 link, and you only get emails once or twice a week. It takes 10 to 20 seconds to click on a link. Since for every link you click on you get $0.02, you are going to need a few months or years to accumulate $15. Does it mean that you cannot earn money with Hits4Pay? You can, but only as a person who refers many other users. However, they are probably not going to get paid, so it really looks like a pyramid scheme where only those who refer a lot of other users earn money.
Since it seems like it is a pyramid scheme, I am not going to encourage you to join it, but I know that there are people who got paid, especially those who had referrals. On the bright side, reading those emails does not take a lot of time, so if you are interested, you can sign up by visiting their webpage.
The idea behind Hits4Pay is to get paid for reading commercial emails. Earnings are as follows:
-You will receive a $10 Signup Bonus.
-You will earn $0.02 For Each ad.
-You will earn $0.01 from your first level members reading ads.
-You will earn $0.01 from your second level members reading ads.
The emails are customized to your preferences. You can get your payment by check once you reach $15.00. This company has a reputation of generally being honest, but the downside is that they do not pay that much. A good way of increasing your income is to have referrals.
However, I have to warn you that if you plan on using Hits4Pay, you should keep in mind that they decide how many emails they will send you. Before they pay you, you have to earn $15 by reading emails, which means that it might take some time to accumulate $15. If you manage to accumulate $15, as a bonus they are throwing in another $10, but only the first time they pay you. The problem is that they have the right to completely stop sending you emails once you begin approaching the payout.
